Jo is a Certified Equinology Equine Body Worker (EEBW).
She is an Internationally Qualified Professional using a wide range of recognised techniques and modalities to maintain and improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients’ horses. We also work closely with our local Equine Vets, and other Equine related Professionals to provide physical and behavioural rehabilitation.
Jo uses a unique blend of sports massage, soft tissue mobilisation and release, stretching, and point therapy. Her work emphasizes proper and safe techniques; all anatomically referenced. Her work also covers assessment of the entire horse including conformation and gait evaluation as well as follow-up exercise and range of motion manoeuvres. She is also interested in the benefits of Accupressure. In addition she also uses 660 nm Red Light LED Phototherapy, TENS and EMS Electrotherapy techniques when appropriate.
