Heaven & Earth Equine Retreat at The HemeI en Aarde Farm has been developed as a centre of excellence for horses, young and old, needing some special care and
attention. We offer a combination of superior daily routine, an extremely horse friendly environment, top class facilities and a wide range of wellness modalities and exercise options. We also work closely with other equine professionals to provide a holistic approach to improve your horse’s physical and emotional welfare, as well as addressing specific roblems and issues.
H&R Philosophy
We have created a very safe and open environment which allows horses to live out as freely and naturally as possible, but always with superior levels of supervision and care, including any specific needs of the Horse or his Owner.
We are totally committed to using natural methods, and where appropriate, we work sympathetically with every horse in order to nurture their happiness and health. We are not wedded to any single training or handling method or particular wellness modality or exercise regime, but can combine and tailor philosophies and techniques as required for each individual horse.
‘Prevention is better than cure’ means a huge amount to us in respect of looking after horses. This is not just a responsibility in terms of the horse’s welfare; but also in respect of the peace of mind and financial liability to the Owner. We do not take chances with a horse’s wellbeing.

Stable Facilities
Our stunning Stable Barn has been purpose built with your horse’s comfort, safety, health and relaxation in mind.
Our Guests
Our Equine Retreat provides the ideal environment for horses that would benefit from some R&R, combined with a very high level of care and attention.
We offer:
- An idyllic setting for some intensive rest, recuperation or repair, with plenty of care. For example, after a hard racing or competition season
- An ideal environment to do some growing up before further training
- A holiday residence, perhaps when you take a vacation and want your horse to enjoy the same
- A home for pregnant mares to come and get pampered prior to foaling down, which they can also do here
- A perfect retirement retreat for a precious equine partner
- A place for them to experience what it really feels like to be a horse again (whilst under a watchful eye at all times!).
Although our vacancies are very limited, we are happy to care for equine guests on both long and short term stays, and can make arrangements for advance bookings.
